Wedding Bliss

Luke and Becca's wedding was great, including picture-perfect weather. Glad so many family and friends could be there. Great also that we could spend some time the following weekend with the brandnewlyweds, including taking in a Curve baseball game. It was cool of Dee to have the announcement of their marriage posted on the scoreboard. Were they ever surprised!

In a little more than three weeks we'll be packing up the car, and with a very angry travel-hating cat, heading back to South Carolina. How time flies--our summer at the Knob is already winding down. Can't leave Pennsylvania though before I take Dee to the Millerstown carnival, to enjoy the french fries I've been talking about for nearly a quarter century.

Real work begins when we get back home, as we will be making final preparations for our trip to Russia. Wasn't it George Carlin who wondered why anybody would actually want to leave their home? I guess we humans like to torture ourselves, because it feels so good when we stop! Anyhow, we'll be busier than the proverbial one-armed paper hanger getting ready to go to Russia.
